Citizen GN 4-S WorldTime Watch
I found this rarity on Ebay! Funny story behind this one. I was bidding on this watch like crazy and then the buyer cancelled the auction when it got to about $41 and it still had several days yet to go. I figured the seller changed his mind about letting this one go or someone made him an offer he could not refuse. Anways, after 3 days I checked his other auctions and this Citizen was back on Ebay with a buy it now price of $20! The seller had just posted the auction and I was the 8th person to view it based on the auction counter. According to the seller it seems as though the analog function stopped working but all the digital functions were still operating. I jumped on it and purchased this watch at $20. I think I got a fair deal on it ..after all, it might be something very simple to fix. I think this watch would sell for around $100 on Ebay even with the analog function non-operable. Citizen is a quality timepiece so I am pleased with this purchase. Here are a few shots. Once I receive the watch I will update the pictures and take better shots. More to come on this resto! SOLD for $75.00 on Ebay!!

Funny thing is its digital calendar can't go up to 2008. The latest year it can handle is 2004 or thereabouts. (I think its date range is 1985-2004, twenty years.) The solution to this problem: Calendar Home. Right now it displays correctly because it thinks the year is 1986.
I think it's pretty cool that the watch has lasted longer than the folks at Citizens thought it possibly could when they built it.
