Restoring Father's Schrade Hunting Knife

My dad asked me to restore his old Schrade hunting knife at Christmas...I have been working on it and this is what I have thus far. Keep in mind the blade was basically black and pitted from carbon buildup and rust. I have been stage sanding it....I have some more sanding to do then I will polish it out under the wheel. I even polished the rivets...they blended in with the handle before sanding. Looks much better! MOre pictures will be posted soon! Finally finished! Knife looks amazing and my father was pleased with the results! Thumbs up!
