Troy Bilt Mower Resto

Found this mower kicked to the curb...looks as though someone ran over the front part of the mower and crushed the front wheels and mount bars. Works like a charm and even has electronic ignition! Nice! More to come on this resto!

Update 11/22/08: I found a used Easy Mow wheel kit on Ebay and snagged it for $30. Proceeds paid for by items found by the way..so free kit to fix the Self Propelled Troy Bilt lawn mower (MOTOR BY HONDA!!!) that I also found a while back. I disassembled the front end of the Mower and took off the bent axle and wheels to make room for the kit. The Easy Mow kit...converts a standard wheel mower into a 180 degree mower so you can move big heavy mowers in practically any direction with ease.

This kit is used but the buyer said it was only used a few times and then he took them off due to the fact that all of his wheels were adjustable with one lever on the mower and he wanted to maintain this option. The Toro has the same option but I have taken the adjustment lever off to make the front end kit work, so no problem. Adjusting wheels is fairly easy and I do not have to do that very often. Thumbs up!

Update: Used for a while and then sold on Craigslist to make room in the garage....I had a massive clean recently...:)
