Project Utility Trailer Resto

I landed this small little utility trailer from a neighbor friend in a trade deal. I traded some various VW parts for this little gem!  The story is that the trailer was used at the local Denton airport for years. Not sure how it was used but looks as though maybe it had a tank of some sort mounted on it...maybe a refuel tank?? I am just guessing. It is super small but big enough to carry a couple of bikes on it so I decided to do the trade. My plan it to update and restore. I am replacing the dinky 8 inch wheels and tires with beefier 12 inch wheels and tires which I found kicked to the curb.  To get the 12" tires on I had to remove the fenders.  I am unsure if I want to reuse the fenders or not as they are really smashed up and rusty.  I could hammer it all out and respray which I might do but I would still have to redrill the mount holes to mount the fender 2" higher on the trailer.  This is where I am at right now...more to come soon.
